• The Age Of Steam Barnstaple Junction I

This is Barnstaple Junction ( Now Barnstaple Station ) In the Days of Steam.

From Barnstaple Junction, the track continued to Ilfracombe and Bideford and beyond, as well as a link to the other line GWR, a very busy place, with the Steam

Trains coming and going, passenger, freight, livestock, being shunted around ready for collections, must have been a wonderful place to be.

This Engine has travelled from Ilfracombe and is just pulling in at Barnstaple Junction, then heading for Exeter and then London.
