• RED ARROWS PALM SPLIT

2014 marked the 50th display season for the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows.
The Team’s opening season was in 1965, with a media event at RAF Little Rissington on May 6 that year being the Team’s first official display. As is tradition, it is the number of display seasons rather than the Teams anniversary or formation that was celebrated in 2014.

The Red Arrows 50th display season were marked in a big way and where the Red Arrows were a key theme, including major air shows such as RAF Waddington International Air Show and the Royal International Air Tattoo RAF Fairford.  The celebrations reflect how the Red Arrows remain the public face of the Royal Air Force, showcasing the values and expertise of the Service and representing the United Kingdom.
