The change of the seasons give the Exmoor National Park a wide variety moody looks. The winter, hills and valleys covered in white pristine snow, only disturbed by animal tracks, deer and ponies. Trees, holding onto the weight of rain and hoar frost, a truly magnificent season. Autumn the heralds winter, with the initial change of colours to deep browns, reds as the vegetation prepares to shed leaves as winter approaches.
Summer time is a different character blue skies with birds of prey flying high in the sky and a burst of colour all around and the plants and animals absorbing the suns rays.
